payever Checkout comes to Odoo, giving thousands of merchants a single integration for payments, financing, and BNPL

Odoo merchants across Europe can now activate the full payever payment stack — from card and Direct Debit acceptance to consumer and B2B financing — directly inside their existing setup, with no added gateway fees and no extra development work.

HAMBURG, Germany — August 31, 2026

payever today announced that payever Checkout is available to merchants running Odoo, bringing its full payment portfolio natively into the platform used by thousands of small and mid-sized businesses across Europe. Starting today, Odoo merchants on versions 17 through 19 can activate payever's payment methods in a few clicks, consolidating card payments, Direct Debit, digital wallets, local payment methods, and consumer and business financing into a single integration.

"Merchants shouldn't have to choose between the platform they run their business on and the payment options their customers expect. With payever Checkout now built into Odoo, merchants get everything — from BNPL to B2B invoicing to local payment methods — through one connection, without taking on additional gateway costs or engineering work."

The launch makes Odoo the latest addition to a growing list of platforms where payever Checkout is already live, joining Shopware, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and Commercetools. For Odoo's merchant base — which spans fast-growing SMBs to mid-market retailers running their entire operation on the platform — the integration removes one of the more persistent friction points in scaling an online or omnichannel business: stitching together multiple payment providers to cover every method a customer might want to use.

One app, the full payment stack

At the center of the launch is payever Checkout as a native Odoo payment app. Rather than integrating individual providers one at a time, merchants can turn on payever's entire portfolio of payment methods from within their existing Odoo configuration. There's no additional development work required, and no separate gateway fees layered on top — a structure designed to make adopting new payment methods a matter of activation rather than implementation.

Consumer financing and BNPL, backed by Santander and Openbank

Through a partnership with Santander Consumer Finance and Openbank, Odoo merchants can now offer flexible lending, instalment payments, and buy now, pay later options at checkout. The financing is backed by one of Europe's largest financial institutions, giving merchants a way to increase conversion and average order value while offloading the credit risk and servicing that come with offering financing directly.

B2B payments, protected by trade credit insurance

For merchants selling to other businesses, payever Checkout adds B2B buy now, pay later powered by Allianz Trade. The offering enables invoice-based payments at checkout — a payment method business buyers frequently expect — while Allianz Trade's built-in trade credit insurance protects merchants against payment default. It's a combination aimed at reducing checkout friction for B2B customers without shifting risk onto the merchant.

Cards and Direct Debit through Verifone

payever's partnership with Verifone brings credit and debit card acceptance and SEPA Direct Debit to Odoo merchants at competitive rates. Combined with the rest of the portfolio, it rounds out the core payment infrastructure most European merchants need to run day-to-day operations.

Pay by Bank, wallets, and local payment methods across every market

Beyond cards and financing, the integration brings a wide range of additional payment methods into the same Odoo app: Pay by Bank via account-to-account (A2A) and Open Banking rails, PayPal, and Wero. Merchants selling across multiple European markets can also activate the local payment methods their customers already use and trust, including Bancontact in Belgium, Bizum in Spain, TWINT in Switzerland, Swish in Sweden, and BLIK in Poland — each available through the same single integration, without separate contracts or technical work per market.
